The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Probationary Officer (PO) exam, also known as the IBPS PO exam, to recruit candidates for the position of Probationary Officers in various participating banks. Here’s some information about the IBPS PO exam:
-> Purpose: The IBPS PO exam is conducted to select candidates for the position of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee in participating banks. Successful candidates are offered appointments in one of the participating banks.
-> Participating Banks: Several public sector banks and financial institutions participate in the IBPS PO recruitment process. Some of the major banks include State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, and others.
Age Limit
-> Minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years
– > OBC: 33 Years, SC/ST: 35, PwD: 40,
Exam Pattern
SBI PO exam consists of three phases, namely: 1. Phase-I online Examination (Objective Type), 2. Phase-II online Examination, 3. Interview.
